Welcome to the Second Street Bed & Breakfast in historic Hallowell, Maine.  This classic colonial style home was converted to a bed and breakfast in 2005.  Take a short walk to an intimate downtown with several restaurants & pubs featuring great food and live music of local musicians seven days a week.  Visit many unique shops, wonderful art studios and much, much more.  The Friends of the Kennebec Rail Trail offer a scenic trail for walking, running and bicycling that stretches through Augusta, Hallowell, Farmingdale, and Gardiner along the Kennebec River.  Browse our local Hallowell Area Board of trade web site at www.Hallowell.org for the city’s special events or for more information about area offerings, please visit some of the sites named below.

As you will experience, the Second Street Bed & Breakfast is a central location to many of Maine’s attractions.  Hallowell is approximately one hour from the rocky coast of Maine, where guests of ours can explore communities such as Rockland, Camden and Belfast and only two hours from Bar Harbor featuring Acadia National Park.
